Since you used cocaine and got away with it Senator Obama, do you think it would be hypocritical of you not to pardon people convicted of cocaine use, as well as other recreational drugs, if it were in your power to do so?

Are you concerned about the situation in Tibet? What would you do about it? Would you defend Taiwan?

Are you worried that cutting back on our military to enjoy the domestic benefits a peace dividend would yield might embolden aggressive nations such as China and Russia? What plans do you have to reduce the likelihood that our weakness or perceived unwillingness to act to defend freedom abroad might precipitate hostile actions by others that cause us to sit idly by watching the light of freedom dwindle across the world or engage in a bloody battle for it that would have been unnecessary if we had projected more power and clear determination?

Do you still smoke? If so, how can we take your concern about our healthcare seriously when by smoking you indicate that you don't even take your own healthcare seriously?

Cherry, these questions seem to me very confused -- e.g. you're talking about Obama cutting back on our military, when his position is actually that military spending will need to increase (atleast in the beginning).

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/defense/
"Barack Obama and Joe Biden support plans to increase the size of the Army by 65,000 soldiers and the Marines by 27,000 troops"

Also are you arguing that all former drug users must support decriminalization, even if they regret their past usage?

Honestly this (and the smoking question both) seems to me like a kid whining to his/her parents about not letting him do things they themselves did when they were teens -- not taking into account that his/her parents are different people nowadays.

It just seems surreal to me that people will be rotting away for years in prison while a guy who did the same thing they did is President of the United State of America. He would be free to answer as you have indicated. "No, I would not feel like a hypocrite for not pardoning them if it were in my power to do so. I'd be a hypocrite if I were still using cocaine, but I'm not, so I'm not." That's something along the lines of what Dr. Laura said if I remember right.

Okay, let me be honest. Obama/Biden saying they need to beef up the military is something I didn't know about. As Gomer Pyle might say, "Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!" See that's why I keep coming back. ... learn something new every day... [Smile]

If you try hard enough, I'm sure you'll find some law that Obama may have broken in his personal life that McCain didn't, but I think McCain has already admitted that he led a very irresponsible life through his 20's. He committed adultery and was a binge drinker. Why do you assume he didn't try cocaine? What else did he do that he won't admit to?

Cherry, I don't really want to know the answers. I'm just pointing out that you can play that sick game both ways, hoping to whittle the other guy down just a little more than your own guy gets shrunk. It's a drinking game, not how you choose the next President.

That's a different issue than asking how 5+ years of torture and captivity altered McCain's mind. He has suppressed all records from his POW experience and tends to get extremely angry when pressed about it. If you want to know him better, you should ask those questions. People here don't seem bothered that he referred to a crowd of his supporters as "my fellow prisoners" 40 years after he was released from his torture cell. I think that is a serious oversight.

These aren't that bad. Lemme put on my Axelrod hat for a moment:

1. case by case, (plus we do need to examine our drug policies, which have failed to yild the desired results so far).

2. Challenging China's control of Tibet outright would mean challenging a 50 year status quo. However, neither human rights abuses or the evident desire of many Tibetans for self-determination may be ignored, and these issues should be resolved with the Chinese. Bullying them won't work.

3. We find the question to be simplistic and inaccurate. I'll get back to you with a more detailed response than this fomat permits.

4. I have quit and no longer smoke even remotely what I used to. However, I admit that the pressures of the campaign have caused me to backslide and sneak the occasional puff. We all have our vices, and smoking is a particularly bad one, hard to break free of, but I'm working on it and I appreciate your concern and that of the American people.

And if he is sworn in and sends our troops into harm's way to stop the spread of Islamic extremism and someone protests that action, THEN you might be justified in lodging a complaint that someone's criticism might be hurting our country.

Until then you can stuff that misapplied rejoinder back into the old bag of tricks you drew it from.

This is officially my favorite question ever, hahah... let me try my hand at asking a few

"Dear Obama; When your incompetent administration surrenders our children over to North Korea after receiving indications that they have a nuclear weapon ready to ram down our throats... how do you plan to get the children back?"

"Dear Obama; I hear you play basketball. When you cut funding to football scholarships and invite Magic Johnson to run a government sponsored Hoops-For-Grades program - how do you expect our children to abandon one of our most cherished national pass-times? Also, since you don't know anything about good quarterbacking, why should we trust you to quarterback for America!?"

"Dear Obama; The Light of Freedom(tm) is dwindling! The terrerists (sic) hate us for our Freedom(tm). How do you plan to bring back the Light and spread it over all the world?"

Nope. You do know Shrub snorted too, right? Just wasn't man enough to admit it.

I have too, btw. Hated it. Tried heroin too. scared me off the bat so I never did again.

Cherry, ruo here is a lost cause. Are you man enough to pick up any of my McCain questions?

Jesse, the Xtian/Buddhist/Muslim/Hindu thing to do is heal not hurt. Perhaps we should ask an expert on what verbal diet is most nurturing as troll food?

Personally, I think silence might be better on her tummy than that rich stuff we fed her over the weekend?

Now now now. Sure, Jesse's been known to turn a few tricks, but calling him an old bag is way off. His picture is on the "on the internet no one knows if you're a dog" thread.

Look at them eyes: Jesse's young and fine.

I want the questions answered even if I may not personally care about his smoking habits except as it might indicate one more area of Obama's deceit.

But there is not ONE specific question I'd like an answer to. I want him to be expansive and tell us the nature of his involvements with the Iraqi billionaire, Nadhmi Auchi. I'd like him to tell us how he could sit in Rev. Wright's church, for 20 years - a church his mother would not have felt comfortable attending - listening to such bile and contempt for America and bigotry toward Whites. I'd like him to come clean on who wrote his first book and how, with his grades being less than straight "A," he was allowed into Harvard Law.

And while he's at it, I'd like him to explain how he was so confident about being qualified, gradewise, and able to afford Harvard despite being a typically impoverished college student who was working as an underpaid community organizer. And how and why he listed Harvard, Stanford and IIRC, Yale as one of the three schools he'd be attending.

It's like he was assured of getting accepted by one of the three somehow. Few students in his situation could realistically be so confident. How was he so?

Could it have anything to do with the rich Saudi prince and the ex-Black Panther mentor who serves as an adviser to the prince?

And I'd like to know more about his connection to ACORN, but only the truth.

And what was the deal about that trip to Pakistan? Why didn't it happen to make it into the official bio and why didn't he mention it when talk was going on about Pakistan in the news or in the debates?

Without knowing the correct context, your communication to Jesse can be read as fluff. Banter and inside jokes.

But in the context of being able to disrupt someone's computer and their use of the internet it might be shown in a future hearing that you were colluding with Jesse to deny a McCain supporter access to certain sites and to prevent expressing her/his political beliefs.

"Silence on her tummy" could be interpreted as a sugestion to block ALL my internet activity rather than just access to some sites which have to do with Obama.

But it might mean nothing.

We shall see.

I confess. I'm also responsible for any booby sag you might be experiencing, and those funny looks from the neighbor's dog when you walk by.

These magical talents, and more, derive from my Magisterial Shirt of Brown Power. (Don't say I never set you up for an easily misapplied rejoinder.)

As long as you just want to play, ruo, we're fine. Ask me to take seriously, even slightly, your even slightly serious political notions, and I'ma wooden injun of silence.

Easy. A buncha neo-neoNAZIs (a subsect who've abandoned classical Hitlerrhoid Aryan supremacism and embraced diversity) putsch him there.

But you'll never read it in the mainstream press.

Dunno. Depends on how strong I'm feeling after I'm done *thoroughly* beating my wife.

Also, depends on how uppity they are about having to always sit in the back of said public vehicle.

I had a friend who'd sometimes say in referring to someone detecting a fart in a common work area: "He who smelt it, dealt it."

In this case my friend's remark might suggest you were the one likely to harbor feelings of bigotry.

But my friend was sometimes the one who'd actually broken wind. And with that knowledge it could be alleged that I was the one who was REALLY the bigot here.

But, for some reason I doubt it.

I like how a lot of people like to complain about gotcha journalism, and then someone says something like this. Fascinating.

Edited to add: I'd also like to know the REAL info about Obama smuggling Illudium Pu-36 Explosive Space Modulators to the Martian Syndicates, but only the REAL info. C'mon, lets hear the truth!
