For an art website. A surprisingly flattering experience, though this site doesn't exactly get overwhelming traffic. Anyway, thought I would share and divert a little from the partisan bloodbath.
Again, I marvel at the name. You must tell, were you really born with it, or did you requisistion it? It is too perfect.
Also- I do have a question:
Let's pretend I wanted to cheat, to make quick-comic-movies by having sensors hooked to my face in order to capture my expression while I talked, and animated an almost stick-figure (easiest thing I can think of) with a near-smiley face expression, that would "talk" on the website to my recorded voice and be "synch'd" to my recorded facial input sensoral input-stream..... how fast could I turn around say, a ten minute or half hour "new movie" every day, to go on a website using this method, and employing a graphic designer how many hours per ten minutes of records-to-turn-into-talking-stick-figure?
Thanks guys; I'm basking in my very modest achievement.
Kuato- born with it. Its Saxon, and has a somewhat less dramatic origin than you might imagine. Back in the day, one's head butler/chief servant was simply his "man". Hence, a butler was a "master's man", eventually contracted to "Masterman". I'm a distant cousin of anyone with the last name Butler.
As for the stick man movie, I would imagine that, once you got the whole sensor thing hooked into your computer, and your character modeled, it wouldn't take any time at all. A simple character like a stick man should be able to animate in real-time. That sounds like some pretty fancy software though, and I wouldn't have a clue about it. I just started learning how to 3-D model about 3 months ago, and that's just environments. You need a digital animator; I'm sure they have forums, I would google one and just post your query to the group.
Oh, but Adam, think of the total import of the name. You aren't just a Masterman. You are Adam, THE Masterman, literally the master of all men by patriarchal right. Your parents had a sense of humor, to plop that on a baby.
