I am presently looking for 3rd Party presidential candidates. Who are you folks looking at? I've already marked Nader off my list, although I'm certainly open to hearing a diehard Green tell me why I should do otherwise.

It'll be a tough sell, though.

Vote for the Libertarian Party candidate. They are putting one up this year even though I forgot his name.

We could always use more support for fiscal conservatism in this country -- especially since both the Democrats and the Republicans seem hellbent on giving us a $10 trillion national debt by 2008.

His name is Michael Badnarik. I'm reading his platform right now.

Okay, that's one. Anyone else?

That's a really unfortunate name for a presidential candidate. Sounds like he's bad, and might be Russian. Great chance he's got.

My problem with the third parties is that they're all fringe groups, none are mainstream in politics and values--and that is what most Americans want, and are not getting from the Republicans or Democrats.

Or wait. Maybe it's Gary Nolan:

Do the Libertarians know who is their candidate?

Last time I checked, the Libertarians had about half a dozen candidates. I don't know if any one of them has been selected yet as the official party nominee.

You could always try Dave Barry, he runs each election...

He's your best shot. If I weren't so intent on destroying the world by voting for Bush, I'd vote for him. [Wink]

PS> Btw, Mol, if you sent me an email, um... well, I haven't read it yet, cuz I seldom check my home email. Heh... bad me. [Wink]

Looks like Gary Nolan is the front runner for Libertarian Party nominee for president. Their convention is May 27.

This guy looks promising too!

PS> This is a great webcomic, btw. If you want to support an out of work Disney artist... go buy one of his books. They're cheap, and he's a great guy.

Without even looking at the platform, I found my guy based on solely his party name:

National Barking Spider Resurgence Party

I just hope he brings a lot of air freshener to the White house if he wins.

In all seriousness, I will vote Libertarian if they make it on the OH ballot.
