Society depends on some level of trust. Without it everything just breaks down.

Which is why lauding someone like Faucci is so damaging for society.  He's promoted as a leader when its 100% clear he doesn't trust society.  No one who trusts society lies to society for it's own good, that's 100% the hallmark of someone who has no trust at all for society.

Might actually agree with you about Faucci. He has changed his story and equivocated to many times in my book not sure why he remains a go to guy.
Similar to the go to generals for Afghanistan when the majority of them have never been right.
Most speculation dressed up and or confused as news is a waist of time.

I'm about as unhealthy to you as a vaccinated person is since I already had the virus and have natural anti-bodies.   ;)

Actually, you're probably safer to be around than a vaccinated person.  People seem to confuse vaccinated with innoculated in this day and age.

It's not mistrust its just reality.

That doesn't make any sensed to me. Your reality is that doctors can't be trusted but that is not mistrust

The level of covid conspiracy across the world needed... I just can't get beyond Occam's razor and have to trust

I think he means it's an evaluation borne of information, rather than a mistrustful attitude. Of course it ends up as actual mistrust; but not as paranoia.

Isn't that what your also doing? I haven't seen the recent studies that you have seen, why should we trust you with your 'stats' when we can't trust anyone.

Then don't trust me.  Go look for yourself.  I'm not arguing that you should replace me as the "authority" in your life, I'm telling you that what others' are claiming isn't actually as true as they seem to think it is.

I'm 100% in favor of you actually educating yourself with the studies and the data.  Quit relying on gate keepers that are more interested in pushing their point of view than reporting on what happened.

I've no where said you can't trust doctors.  In fact, I'm saying you should trust them.  They told you exactly how they conduct the count, it's certain posters here and certain gatekeepers in the media that don't want you to trust them at their word because they believe its "dangerous" for you to have doubts about the numbers.

There is no question the numbers are inaccurate.  They could be close, they're almost certainly "close enough" in broad terms for policy decisions, but they'd be next to useless for medical research.

If you applied Occam's Razor correctly it wouldn't be a problem.  There's no need for any "conspiracy" to get to where we are, it's actually the most logical place that we would have been where we need rapid reports of potential virus spread and had no ability to get to rapid certainty of viral attribution.  Misapplication of logic is a bit of a crime.

My bad I miss-read one of your comments

I've actually stopped paying attention to the coverage on Covid from all media sources.

With regards to Occam's Razor

My niece is a nurse and I listen to her experience. That 8 of 10 people in her hospital being treated for Covid are unvaccinated. That might not prove anything but points to a 'reality'.

The only numbers I pay attention to are how many people in the local area are in hospitals test positive and those in the ICU being treated for Covid regardless of other health conditions.
If a person having pre-existing health condition dies while having and being treated for Covid is added to the Covid death count I agree

I think the "probably" is something of a tell here, but to take the claim at face value, what do you feel the possible basis for it might be?

Some people certainly seem to try confuse the two, at any rate.
