Even better:

This also occurred in Bellvue Washington:

I've collected other such stories.  Lots of stories about Muslims helping Christians in similar situations in other lands as well.  Care for a few?  I try to post these around on facebook as counterpoint to all the hatred going on out there.

Any and all stories are appreciated. It's just...the stories today seem to focus on how *this religion* is out to get us. Yesterday it was Jews, today it's Muslims.

There's nothing wrong with Muslims or Islam. They have their idiots. They have their idiotic interpretations. So what? There are, what, a billion and a half of them?

I can't go to a family reunion without wishing I weren't related to someone, people can't adjust to idiots thinking idiotic things?

Once upon a time I lived in Phoenix, there were a buttload of Mormons and I learned to appreciate them and their culture for what it is. I'm in the UK now and I've done the same for Muslims.

They're just people. The same as the rest of us. They might believe in fairy tales, but so do a lot of people. It's no reason to suspect them or look down on them.

I don't remember anyone we take seriously in the US saying Jews were a major threat (at least not publicly while sober.)  I've seen folks say that about Mormons, and you sometimes skirt that line yourself when sufficiently pissed at me.

Moderate Muslims are the first to to recognise there is something rotten in the global Muslim community.  They are the ones that first identified the "Islamist" threat.

In other time periods, especially the 1400s, there has been something rotten in Christendom.  And Jewish scholars acknowledge that the Sadducee dominated period involved something terribly rotten in the Jewish community.  Recognition that a group is going through a dark age is not xenophobia.  But on the whole, the Muslims we have in the US today are a wonderful group.  The ones in France and England, not so much.

THIS IS AMERICA!

I think I would pay to see that in feature length, like Team America.

Trumpism has always been America’s shadow and is the real America.

Dress it up anyway you want from the inside but the world watching sees the reality.
Americans allowed a man without character to become their voice.  A bully and like all bullies a man of fears.
All his policies come from a place of fear.

America should be ashamed

I don't skirt the line. Mormons are the most sincere religious group that I've met. I like them.

I also think Joe Smith was a con man and a liar who started a cult so he could be revered and bang a bunch of women as his "wives." In much the same way I think Jesus was just a Jewish philosopher whose named was used by Paul to gain power.

It's got nothing to do with you. The world - and what I happen to say and believe - does not actually revolve around  Pete at Home.

As for Muslims in Europe,  that's a mighty broad brush you're painting them with. I live in a town with a very large Muslim population,  and I don't really see a difference between them and other skydaddy worshiping delusionists.

There is a larger population here, and that allows for bigger chances for *censored* to pop up, but it's no more a percentage then what you see in Israel or Christian countries.

Glad to hear you don't hate all of them.  What you said about baptisms for the dead did give me the impression you were taking the evil Mormon threat approach.  As opposed to, say, Christopher Hitchen's approach (CH like you thinks JS was a con man), that Baptism for the Dead is "bad taste" but when you think about it, a rather sweet approach to the age old question of what happens to good folks that never knew Christianity.
