Trump lost because of the never Trumpers like McCain and Romney and now Coulter and their whole crowd who took his personal insults personally or got hysterical about him not being the all powerful messiah of their fantasies and then put their, sorry to be so indelicate but the best words in the common vernacular of the day is butt hurt, so they put their butt hurt above their own stated positions on issues.
I know you have this theory, Cherry, that being a ****sucker and being an ***hole or a moron or a notorious liar shouldn't matter in politics because all that matters is policy. That people who stand against ****suckers and ***holes and liars and morons are wrong because all that matters is victory.
You should step back and look at that proposition. Ask yourself if dignity, integrity, honor, service, humility, grace, and responsibility all take a back seat to victory and policy, what is the point? Who's the bad guy?
McCain and Romney, despite being burdened with all those nasty attributes above, couldn't win but Il Don could. But despite that, they only had two votes. I don't think you can blame them for Trump losing in 2020. I wish I could say that you could blame me and people like me. I'd LOVE to be responsible for that. But I voted against the Lord Jackass twice. You need to find the people who wouldn't put up with his *censored* anymore in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. But personally I'd say that Tinyhands himself was mostly responsible for him losing in 2020.
