Trump's silence

I think Trump's silence on the attack on Pelosi's husband speaks volumes. He likes violence when it is used against his enemies. Nothing from most of the other most right leaning MAGA people other than some of them claiming they were the victims (MTG looking at you).
Trump likes violence.

Trump finally said something.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-attack-paul-pelosi-terrible-143018156.html
Says it was terrible but basically blamed Democrats for being soft on crime, not mentioning that the attacker was spurred on by election lies and Q-Anon.

I'm surprised that mtg hasn't pointed out that Pelosi should have had guns in the house. Instead she's spending her time repeating how Pelosi should be executed.

As someone with multple friends in family in both Chicago and San Francisco, the idea that either city is "worse than Afghanistan" is laughable. I will
never
understand why Republicans aren't more ashamed of being pathetic, whiny cowards.

Maybe I'm missing something in the OP, but what is the problem with Trump's silence on this? I thought everyone wanted him to shut up already.

Personally, I was fine with his silence. I was sure -- and was right -- that if and/or when he said something, it would be stupidly offensive.

Apparently he wasn't silent as he posted some QAnon stuff after immediately after the event but I have no idea if the crap had anything to do with Pelosi - but that he wasn't silent but silent on directly commenting on the event does speak volumes

basically blamed Democrats for being soft on crime,
The republicans have no moral ground to make that accusation anymore without sound like huge hypocrites .

I think it's safe to say that Republicans haven't worried about sounding like huge hypocrites for at least the last 15 years.
