So just to compare, Trump routinely and massively criticized for calling out the protesters from the first day, because he also called out the violent Anti-fa counterprotesters.  Media runs with that emboldens and protects Anti-fa and violence by mixing them in with the peaceful counter protesters and refusing to acknowledge that they can be separately criticized.

Pelosi roundly criticizes a peaceful group that wants to protest in Berkeley.  Labels them white supremacists, which appears to be an inaccurate label, criticizes the parks service for letting them assemble (as in their Constitutional right), sits silent when Anti-fa shows up and the police deliberately get out of Anti-fa's way for days, and when she's finally forced to say something because of the ridiculous situation and the blatant double standard, includes in her statement "we must never fight hate with hate," which is a literal and liberal dog whistle to let everyone know that the protesters were the ones at fault (ie blame for both sides), and it causes  what?   Not one real word of media condemnation, other than she took too long to speak?

How is this not a ridiculous and direct double standard?

Media headline I saw was "Pelosi condemns AntiFa" but didn't give it a critical read-through as to what she actually said. I guess I was just muddled by the matter of what the headline read.
